'Edit LArVa Configuration Box' Appears On Every StartUp

LArVa creates a new LArVa.conf file that stores your most recent COM channel and your most recent Arduino Board type if no LArVa.conf file exists.  The LArVa.conf file needs to be located in the same directory as your simple graph App_LArVa_simpleGraph.exe or App_LArVa_simpleGraph.vi.  By default the installer puts the Angstrom Designs folder of your program files directory.  LArVa needs to be able to create, read and write files in this directory to have full control over the LArVa.conf file.

1st option to try:  Create a blank file using notepad called LArVa.conf and place it in the Angstrom Designs folder of Program Files with your Simple Graph programs.  Make sure this file is called LArVa.conf, and does not have some hidden extensions like LArVa.conf.txt or similar.  Run Simple Graph.  The "Edit LArVa Configuration" dialog should pop up the first time you run Simple Graph, but no more after that.  You may need administrator permissions to make this change.

2nd option to try:  If the above does not work then you will need to get additional permissions on your computer.  Right click on the folder \Program Files\ Angstrom Designs and make sure the Attribute "Read-only" is not checked.  Uncheck the box if needed.  You may need administrator permissions to make this change.

3rd option to try:  Copy the entire contents of the Angstrom Designs folder in Program Files to a location you have full read and write access to and run LArVa from this location.
