How do I change Arduino boards in LArVa Simple Graph?

In order for LArVa to communicate with your Arduino, you need to tell LArVa what type of Arduino board you are using.  This is done in the Setup tab in Simple Graph.

There are several ways to do this:

  1. When you run Simple Graph for the first time it will prompt you for your Arduino board type with a pop up menu.
  2. While Simple Graph is running, change the 'Arduino Board' drop down menu to your board type.
  3. While Simple Graph is open, but not running, select the 'New Arduino Board' button and start the application.
  4. If none of the methods above work for you, when Simple Graph is not running, you can go to your installation directory (typically C:\Program Files\Angstrom Designs\) and delete the file 'LArVa.conf'.  The next time you run Simple Graph you will be prompted for your Arduino Board type.

Note these same methods work for changing the COM port as well.
